This unique Indian River Presentation is brought to you by our Visual and Performing Arts Program at Indian River Charter High School. It focuses on the history of the Treasure Coast through the eyes of Zora Neale Hurston and Waldo E. Sexton during 1890-1945.

Having been the founding dance instructor here at IRCHS Chris Sexton, after the passing of her husband Ralph Sexton, found a series of correspondences between Waldo and Zora that had never been published. She thought they would make for an excellent artistic story telling of the pioneer days of St. Lucie and Indian River County.

The presentation is comprised of dance, drama, music, and art. Completely written, composed, organized, and performed by students and faculty here at IRCHS.
